What Ninar is

Ninar is an app that plays white noise, ambient sounds and lullabies to help babies settle and sleep, with timers, a mixer and a sleep log. It is made by Esquyna Labs.

Safe use

Ninar is not a medical device and not a baby monitor. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition, and it does not replace supervision or the advice of a pediatrician.

• Keep the phone at least 2 meters (about 7 feet) from the baby and never inside the crib or bassinet.
• Keep the volume low. You are responsible for choosing a safe volume.
• Follow the safe sleep guidance of your pediatrician and your local health authority.
• Sleep information in the app is general reference with cited sources. Every baby is different.

Who can use it

You must be an adult, at least 18 years old, to use Ninar and to make purchases.

Your license

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Ninar on your own devices for non-commercial purposes. You agree not to copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or misuse the app or its sounds, and not to bypass its purchase controls.

Purchases, trials and subscriptions

Core features are free. Ninar Pro is unlocked with a one-time purchase or a subscription.

• Plans and prices are shown inside the app, in your local currency, before you buy.
• The one-time purchase unlocks Pro for as long as the app is available, on devices using the same Apple or Google account.
• The yearly plan may include a free trial. The length is shown before you start. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription starts and the store charges you.
• Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period until you cancel. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period to avoid the next charge.
• Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account at confirmation of purchase and at each renewal.
• To cancel, open the subscription settings of your store account. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
• Use Restore purchases in Settings to recover a purchase on a new device.
• Prices can change. A change never affects a period you have already paid for.

Apple terms

If you download Ninar from the Apple App Store, the Apple Standard End User License Agreement also applies: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. Apple is not responsible for the app, its content, support or maintenance.

Our content

The app, the sounds, the illustrations, the texts and the brand belong to Esquyna Labs or its licensors and are protected by law. Classic lullabies are public domain melodies in our own arrangements.

Disclaimers and liability

Ninar is provided "as is". We work to keep it accurate and running, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will make any baby sleep.

To the extent permitted by the law that applies to you, Esquyna Labs is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of the app, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights that the law says cannot be limited, including consumer rights.

Changes

We may update these terms or the app. When a change is material we will tell you in the app or on this page. You can stop using the app at any time.
